German Cookies



Salam and Hye...

dah lama tak update blog since dah masuk semester baru. dah busy call patient and penat dengan kerja lab & treat patient. lagipun duduk kolej ni bukannya boleh buat aktiviti mem'baking' so kerja2 membaking hanya akan disambung musim cuti masa hadapan.

And kali ni nak share resepi yang first time saya buat namanye German Cookies. nama pun mcm dah sedap kn.. cookies ni ala-ala melt-in-the-mouth gitu.




Ingredients (makes 60 pieces)

125g butter
40g icing sugar, sifted
125g potato starch
80g superfine flour @ plain flour


Method

1. Beat butter and icing sugar till fluffy and lighter in colour.
2. Sift in potato starch and flour, mix to form a soft dough.
3. Roll into small balls (about 2cm in diameter), arrange on lined baking pan and press lightly with a fork (dip the fork in water after each press to prevent cookie dough from sticking to the fork).
4. Bake in preheated oven at 170 deg C for 15 mins, upper rack (need not bake till cookies turn brown).


p/s: potato starch tu bole didapati dekat mane2 kedai bakery insyaAllah ada melainkan kehabisan stok.. hehe


selepas dirasa-rasa oleh kaum kerabat family, mak & abang cakap rasa dia macam Biskut Arab. biskut arab ni famous dekat kelantan & rasa die manis. lainnya biskut arab ni guna minyak sapi.

tapi mak cakap German Cookies ni tak semanis biskut arab la.. hehe

German cookies ni bole jugak kalau nak letak flavor. selalunye orang letak coco powder atau blueberry essence untuk rasa yang berbeza-beza.
